Once in a blue moon, you are someone's hero.

Ellie Russo finds herself in a new town and a new school when her mother takes a job teaching science at Giant Laurel Middle School. A shy artist, Ellie worries she will have difficulty making new friends. Her luck changes when she meets Kennedy Jones.

As Mr. Carta tells the sixth grade history class the legend of the Ghost of Giant Laurel, Ellie feels a chill run down her spine. She also feels a strong connection to the ghost, Mary Fletcher.

Strange things begin to happen, and Ellie and Kennedy decide to become Ghost Hunters to search for answers.

A desire to find Mary, and a dare by the meanest girl in school, leads Ellie and Kennedy to spend Halloween Eve in the graveyard next to the old Fletcher house. Join the Ghost Hunters as they uncover surprising secrets hidden in the old haunted house.

Ms Ralene Kay came to visit Ms. Julia Lo’s class, and my class yesterday, and shared her amazing new book “Aria’s Lucky Day”. She inspired our tiny authors so much so that they audibly gasped when they found out that they will also get to have their name on the front cover of their stories this year! AND We got two new beautiful additions to our classroom library. Thank you Ms. Ralene! 💕🫶🏼
